Big drop off in quality and a corresponding increase in price. Their cocktails taste a bit watery, and feel rushed... which I can't justify given their $11 and up price points.
The food is unremarkable.
Scotty himself seems like a hardworking and nice guy, but the drinks really need a lift. -

Came here for a Taste of Science event, where scientists talk about their research.
5 stars for supporting science and community events!
3 stars for food. I had the chicken and waffles, which were actually chicken wings. Nice flavorful batter on the chicken but waffles were chewy and not crunchy. -

There's nothing wrong with this place, but there's nothing great about it either.
I came here with my friends after work to watch the Warriors game, since there was a 1.5 hour wait for a table at Dan Gordon's.
You order food with the bartender, who is nice. It comes out in a timely fashion. It doesn't have much taste, though- we ordered the french fries (which was a generous serving size), a vegetarian pizza (solid) and a quesadilla (it was a tortilla with cheese melted inside, which is suppose is the minimum requirement for calling something a quesadilla- but there was no other filling, topping, or dipping sauce. Saddilla!)
They have a full bar, but no menu for mixed drinks- you just make sh*t up. A smallish place, as far as sports bars go, with TVs on only one side of the restaurant. So if you have a party of 4 and are all seated at a table, 2 of you will be able to see comfortably and 2 of you will need to turn around.
I did, however, notice that they do 10% cashback here on your Yelp-connected cards, which is great and can't wait to get that back. :) -

I've been here twice, once near closing for a Moscow Mule and another time during Happy Hour.
The first time was great. It was practically empty on a Tuesday night, and we didn't know what to get. The bartender suggested the Moscow Mule, a popular drink in the area. It was delicious! The bartender wrapped up the evening, and did not make us feel rushed at all.
The other time was for happy hour. The place was packed five seconds after we arrived, but not before I could get the drink special of the day, a $5 stoli blueberry and soda. I had originally ordered the Twisted Old Vine Zin, but the bartender couldn't find it.
Our group easily found seats, and the decor and lighting were great, definitely not a dive.
